Ryan Jeffery - Ignite

Our guest for episode 7 is Ryan Jeffery, Founder and Co-CEO of Ignite. Ignite is a social enterprise that designs and curates corporate leadership and employee development programs rooted in experiential learning through local and international trips. These trips incorporate collaborations with community organizations that provide long-term benefits for both parties.

Instead of the typical corporate engagement program that rally employees around a one-time volunteering service, or a typical leadership training workshop with a Powerpoint in a conference room, corporate employees who participate in one of Ignite’s curated experiences engage with community organizations that bring participants exposure to social causes while providing the perfect experiential learning grounds for developing skills such as emotional intelligence, inclusive leadership and effective communication. At the end of Ignite’s experiences, the community organization gets long-term benefit from high value strategy or problem-solving sessions while the corporate client benefits from more inspired employees who come back to work engaged, with elevated leadership skills they are looking forward to applying in the company. These experiences lead to higher retention rates and employee satisfaction.
